Siswan Nadi Safety Secured: Ceigall Wins ₹12 Cr. Punjab Contract

Ceigall India has secured an order from the Water Resources Department (WRD), Punjab, for the desilting of the Siswan Nadi.

The Letter of Acceptance (LoA), issued on 26 November 2025, covers desilting works aimed at protecting the abadies and agricultural land of villages from Dulchi Majra to Khizarpur in Tehsil Shri Chamkaur Sahib, District Ropar. The project, valued at ₹12.185 crore, is scheduled for completion within six months.

The desilting initiative is crucial for preventing flooding, safeguarding surrounding land, and ensuring the long-term safety and sustainability of local agriculture and settlements.
