Tera Software, in collaboration with its consortium lead ITI Limited, a public sector undertaking under the Department of Telecommunications, has received an Advance Work Order (AWO) from the BharatNet Project for Package No. 15 under Phase-3.
Valued at Rs 1,901.10 crore, the contract involves the development of the Middle Mile Network in the North Eastern Region-II (NER-II), encompassing Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and Manipur. The project scope includes design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation, and maintenance of the network. This initiative is a critical part of the BharatNet infrastructure, implemented under the Digital Bharat Nidhi (DBN) program on a Design, Build, Operate, and Maintain (DBOM) model.
The objective is to extend high-speed internet connectivity to 2.5 lakh Gram Panchayats across India, supporting the country’s digital inclusion and connectivity goals.
With this latest award, the cumulative order value secured by the Tera Software–ITI consortium from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has reached Rs 7,005 crore.
