Sushee Hi-Tech Wins Massive ₹1,519 Crore Kusmunda Coal Project

Sushee Hi-Tech Projects has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) by South Eastern Coalfields Ltd (SECL) for a major contract at the Kusmunda Open Cast Project (OCP) in Chhattisgarh.

Project Scope:

The contract—valued at ₹1,519.6 crore—includes:

Overburden (OB) removal, Coal extraction, Loading and transportation, Handling and logistics services, Composite mining operations across the Kusmunda OCP

This large-scale assignment underscores Sushee Hi-Tech’s capabilities in end-to-end mining operations, logistics management, and integrated resource handling.

Strategic Impact:

The project is expected to significantly boost coal production efficiency at Kusmunda, one of SECL’s key mining sites, and aligns with SECL’s ongoing efforts to streamline and optimise mining operations in the region.
