BHEL Secures Mega ₹6,650 Cr NTPC Power Deal in Odisha!

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received a Notification of Award (NoA) from NTPC Limited for executing the 1x800 MW Darlipali Supercritical Thermal Power Project (STPP) Stage-II, located in Sundargarh district, Odisha.

Issued on November 6, 2025, the NoA covers complete engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities, including design, engineering, equipment supply, erection, commissioning, and associated civil works. The contract, valued at over ₹6,650 crore, was awarded through international competitive bidding.

The project is scheduled for completion within 48 months from the date of award.
