Medical College Project: Bagalkote Construction Bids Open

The Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka, has floated a tender for the construction of a new government medical college in Bagalkote district.

The project scope includes the development of boys’ and girls’ hostels, residential quarters for teaching staff, and associated infrastructure. Key works comprise mechanical excavation for foundation preparation, clearing and grubbing of road land, and surface excavation for ground leveling. Additionally, the tender covers the provision and laying of cement concrete for foundations and superstructures, road construction, water supply systems, and building finishing works such as the installation of aluminium die-cast tubular hydraulic door closers.

The initiative aims to strengthen medical education infrastructure in the Bagalkote region, providing improved facilities and accommodation for students and faculty. The last date for bid submission is December 6, 2025.
