Ashoka Buildcon's ₹539 Cr High-Speed Railway Win

Ashoka Buildcon Limited has secured a contract worth ₹539.35 crore from the North Western Railway (NWR) for the upgradation of the electric traction system across key sections in the Ajmer Division.

The project involves the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a dual 25 kV electric traction system to enhance existing railway infrastructure and enable train operations at speeds of up to 160 km/h. The work covers a total of 660.81 route kilometres (RKM) / 1,200.85 track kilometres (TKM) across the AII–COR, COR–UDZ, MD–BWA, and BWA–PNU sections.

Ashoka Buildcon is expected to complete the project within 24 months from the issuance of the Letter of Acceptance (LoA).
