BPL Major Transmission Line Contract from PowerGrid

Bajel Projects Limited has clinched a significant contract from PowerGrid Corporation of India Limited, representing their project-specific SPV, M/s Beawar-Mandsaur Transmission Limited. This contract highlights Bajel's expertise in power transmission infrastructure.

The awarded contract is for the Transmission Line Package TL01, involving the construction of the 765 kV D/C Beawar - Mandsaur PS Transmission Line - Part I. This project is a crucial part of the "Transmission System for evacuation of power from Rajasthan REZ Ph-IV (Part-2: 5.5GW) (Jaisalmer/Barmer Complex) Part-D." It underscores the strategic importance of reliable power evacuation from renewable energy zones in Rajasthan.

Secured through the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route, this project exemplifies competitive and transparent procurement practices in the power sector. The TBCB route ensures that the best-qualified companies undertake essential infrastructure projects, promoting efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Valued at INR 586.28 crores, excluding taxes, this contract marks a significant milestone for Bajel Projects Limited. It not only enhances their project portfolio but also reinforces their position as a leading player in India's power transmission sector.
