Diamond Power Infrastructure (DPIL) has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Associated Power Structures for the supply of AL-59 conductors worth ₹175.17 crore, in line with GETCO’s technical specifications.
The contract, awarded on a "Kms rate" basis with PV Formulae, reinforces DPIL’s position as India’s largest single-location manufacturer of power cables and conductors. With an annual installed capacity of 9,600 km and five CCV lines, DPIL is recognized for its energy-efficient solutions and reliable product offerings.
Key project components include:
- 400 kV Double Circuit (D/C) Chorania-Kosamba line and 400 kV D/C Fedra-Sanand (Chharodi) line, both featuring twin AL-59 (61/3.50) conductors and OPGW cables under a turnkey contract.
- 400 kV D/C Sanand (Chharodi)-Soja line (73.062 km) via the LILO section of the 400 kV Halvad-Vadavi line at Sanand.
- 400 kV D/C Kalawad-Saurashtra line, integrating a 765 kV section spanning 968 km. This contract includes twin AL-59 (61/3.50) conductors, OPGW cables, and AP-125 connections to the 765 kV Saurashtra gantry, all executed on a turnkey basis.
This milestone strengthens DPIL’s role in India’s evolving power infrastructure, ensuring efficient transmission solutions for a growing energy demand.
