EMS Limited has secured a substantial contract worth Rs. 141.12 crore from Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd. The project, titled "Development of Distribution Infrastructure-loss reduction works at EDC Dehradun rural Circle of Uttarakhand," falls under the Revamped Reforms-based and Results-linked Distribution Sector Scheme. According to the Letter of Award (LOA), EMS Limited will execute 95% of the project, with a 5% stake held by a joint venture partner.
This initiative aims to bolster distribution infrastructure and minimize losses in electricity distribution across rural areas of Uttarakhand.
