P&I Wins Big: ₹68.22 Cr Rajasthan Power Contract

Power and Instrumentation (Gujarat) Ltd has secured a ₹68.22 crore turnkey contract from Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd (AVVNL) as part of the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), a flagship government initiative aimed at improving power distribution infrastructure across India.

The project entails the supply, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment and materials for the development of distribution infrastructure in the Dungarpur Circle of Rajasthan. The contract will be executed on a turnkey basis and is scheduled for completion within 15 months from the date of award.

A key objective of the project is the segregation of 11 kV mixed feeders, which will significantly improve operational efficiency and power reliability in the region.

This order further underscores Power and Instrumentation’s proven execution capabilities and its growing role in supporting national power sector reforms, particularly under government-led infrastructure development programmes like RDSS.
