Power Mech Projects Ltd. has secured two significant operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts with a combined value of ₹551.35 crore.
The first contract, valued at ₹498.39 crore, has been awarded by SJVN Thermal Pvt. Ltd. (STPL) for commissioning support and comprehensive O&M services for the 1,320 MW (2x660 MW) coal-based supercritical Buxar Thermal Power Project (BTPP) in Chausa, Buxar district, Bihar. The duration of this contract is 39 months.
The second contract, worth ₹52.96 crore, has been awarded by Jhabua Power Ltd., a joint venture of NTPC. It involves O&M of the boiler, turbine, and generator for a 1x600 MW unit located in Village Barela, Tehsil Ghansore, District Seoni, Madhya Pradesh. The agreement is for three years, with a provision for a one-year extension.
These wins further reinforce Power Mech Projects’ leadership in the O&M space and its continued role in supporting India’s thermal power infrastructure.
