Quadrant Future Tek has secured a contract from the Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, for the supply, retrofitting, testing, and commissioning of 192 onboard KAVACH Equipment Version 4.0 units.
The contract, valued at ₹230.42 crore, includes a comprehensive warranty as well as long-term annual maintenance support to ensure the sustained performance of the equipment. The KAVACH system, developed in accordance with Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO) specifications, is designed to significantly enhance safety in train operations.
The project is scheduled to be completed within 12 months and represents an important milestone in the ongoing modernisation of railway safety systems. The contract underscores the government’s focus on strengthening railway infrastructure and ensuring safer operations across the network, while highlighting Quadrant Future Tek’s expertise in delivering advanced safety solutions for the Indian Railways sector.
