Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for contract “D2C-02” under the Delhi MRTS Phase-IV Project.
The awarded contract involves the part design and construction of a 7.298 km elevated viaduct, extending from chainage 1202.782 meters to 8501.25 meters, including platforms for seven metro stations. The stations covered under this corridor are:
Pushp Vihar, Saket District Court, Pushpa Bhawan, Chirag Delhi, Greater Kailash-1 (GK-1), Andrews Ganj, Lajpat Nagar
The scope also includes the construction of pre-engineered building structures at all seven stations along the Lajpat Nagar to Saket G Block corridor.
The total contract value is ₹447.42 crore, and the project is to be completed within 36 months. This development represents a significant milestone in the expansion of Delhi Metro’s Phase-IV network, enhancing public transport connectivity and accessibility across South Delhi.
