Dilip Buildcon Ltd (DBL), through its joint venture DBL-RBL JV, has been declared the L-1 bidder for a major metro construction contract in Haryana, awarded by Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL).
Valued at Rs 1,503.63 crore, the project involves the construction of a viaduct and 14 elevated stations from Millennium City Centre to Sector 9, covering chainage (-)381 m to 12,603 m. The scope also includes:
A 1.85 km spur to Dwarka Expressway, A ramp to the depot at Sector 33, An underpass at Bhaktawar Chowk
(Notably, PEB and architectural finishing works are excluded from the package.)
The project is part of the larger Gurugram Metro Corridor, which spans 26.65 km from Millennium City Centre to Cyber City, with a total of 27 stations, including the Basai Village–Dwarka Expressway spur. The awarded contract covers a 15.22 km stretch, with a completion timeline of 30 months.
This development represents a major step forward in strengthening Gurugram’s urban transit infrastructure, aiming to reduce traffic congestion and improve connectivity between key commercial and residential hubs across the city.
