K2 Infragen, a leading integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm, has secured a prestigious contract worth Rs 90 crores for the construction of a four-lane rail over bridge (ROB) in Uttar Pradesh. The project, located on the Patna-Mughalsarai stretch of the Danapur division in Chandauli district, is poised to bolster the region's transportation infrastructure significantly.
The tender was successfully clinched by a joint venture between Gangasagar Singh and PRL Infrastructure, with K2 Infragen assuming full responsibility for project execution, as entrusted by the UP State Bridge Corporation. The completion timeline for this endeavor is set at 18 months.
This initiative stands to not only enhance the railway infrastructure along the Patna-Mughalsarai corridor but also plays a pivotal role in the broader modernization efforts of Indian Railways. Leveraging their extensive experience in managing intricate and large-scale projects, K2 Infragen's team is well-equipped to navigate the complexities of this undertaking, even in challenging geographic terrains.
This significant contract is anticipated to contribute approximately Rs 35 crores to K2 Infragen's revenue for the fiscal year 2024-2025, underscoring the company's continued growth and commitment to excellence in infrastructure development.
