Kernex Leads the Charge: Rs 325 Crore Kavach Project to Modernize Railway Safety

Kernex-MRT Consortium has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for a Rs 325.33 crore contract from South Eastern Railway, Kolkata.

The contract focuses on enhancing railway safety through the implementation of the Kavach safety system. It involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Kavach across 688 RKM in the Kharagpur and Chakradharpur divisions. The project is expected to be completed within 33 months from the appointed date.

Kernex Microsystems, as the lead member of the consortium, will spearhead the execution of the project, marking a key advancement in modernising railway safety infrastructure.
