K&R Rail Engineering has secured a substantial work order from The KCP, valued at Rs 45 crore. This project involves the construction of railway siding facilities on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) or turnkey basis. The primary objective is to establish rail connectivity for multiple purposes, including the loading of cement, the unloading of imported coal and gypsum, and a future provision for the loading of clinker for Cement Unit-II.
The project site is situated in Muktyala village, within the Jaggayyapet mandal of NTR district, Andhra Pradesh. This location falls under the jurisdiction of the Secunderabad Division of South Central Railway. The strategic importance of this project lies in enhancing logistical efficiencies and streamlining the transportation of essential materials required for cement production.
With this work order, K&R Rail Engineering aims to leverage its expertise in railway construction to deliver a high-quality, integrated rail siding solution. This development not only supports the operational needs of The KCP but also contributes to the broader infrastructure growth in the region, facilitating smoother and more efficient material handling processes.
