RailTel on Track for Growth! Bags Rs 51 Crore Video Surveillance Contract

RailTel Corporation of India, a state-owned railway PSU, has recently clinched a substantial contract valued at Rs 51.53 crore from the Central Warehousing Corporation. This agreement entails the provision, installation, testing, and commissioning of advanced video surveillance systems across various locations in India. The project is slated for completion by November 30, 2029, with a comprehensive consideration of around Rs 51 crore.

Established in 2000, RailTel Corporation of India embarked on a mission to revolutionize India's railway infrastructure by spearheading the development of a nationwide broadband, VPN services, and telecommunications network. Its primary objective is to modernize the operational and safety systems of the Indian Railways.

Recognized as a 'Miniratna' public sector enterprise (PSE), RailTel currently boasts an extensive network spanning approximately 6,000 stations across the country, including key commercial hubs.
