Texmaco Rail’s ₹64-Cr Win in Specialized Freight

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd has secured a ₹64-crore purchase order from APL Logistics Vascor Automotive for the manufacture and supply of specialised freight wagons.

In a statement, the company said the order involves supplying rakes of ACT-1 wagons along with BVCM-type brake vans. The contract is expected to strengthen Texmaco Rail’s footprint in the specialised freight rolling stock segment.

Commenting on the development, Managing Director Sudipta Mukherjee said the order underscores the rising demand for customised, rail-based logistics solutions that enhance safety and operational efficiency.
