Ganesh Builders has been declared the lowest (L1) bidder for a major road safety improvement project in Uttarakhand, with a quoted bid of ₹319 crore.
The project involves safety enhancements along two key national highway sections: the existing four-lane stretch of NH-7 from Dehradun to Lal Tappar to Nepali Farm (Design Chainage 501.930 to 531.330) and the Nepali Farm to Motichur section of NH-34 (Design Chainage 531.330 to 538.750).
To be executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode, the contract falls within the National Highways (Original) scheme and is being implemented by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
The initiative aims to improve road safety infrastructure, address accident-prone black spots, and ensure smoother traffic movement along these crucial corridors that connect Dehradun with major regional routes. This project reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to enhancing transport infrastructure and ensuring safer, more efficient travel in the fast-developing state of Uttarakhand.
