Tata Power Bags Rs 418 Crore NTPC Solar Project

Tata Power Solar Systems (TPSSL) has successfully secured a substantial contract to deliver solar PV modules for a prominent NTPC project located in Rajasthan, India. The assigned project carries a significant order value amounting to approximately Rs 418 crore.

Under the terms of the contract, TPSSL will provide 152 MWp solar PV modules designated for NTPC's Nokh solar PV project situated in Rajasthan. The solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Bengaluru operated by TPSSL will be the source of 152 MWp DCR solar PV Modules for this specific undertaking.

The NTPC project, known as the Nokh Solar Park, is a development encompassing 3×245 MW (735 MW) and is strategically located at Pokhran in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. This venture marks a noteworthy advancement in the integration of sustainable energy solutions within the region.
