Vikran Engineering (VEL) has bagged a ₹354 crore turnkey contract for the development of a 100 MW AC / 120 MW DC solar power project in Maharashtra.
The contract, awarded by Ellume Energy MH SolarOne, covers comprehensive EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) responsibilities — including design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar facility. All components will be sourced from Tier-1 manufacturers to ensure quality and efficiency.
This project marks a strategic milestone for Vikran Engineering as it expands its presence in the renewable energy sector, diversifying beyond its established operations in power transmission, water, and rail infrastructure.
Once completed, the solar plant will contribute to India’s clean energy targets, underscoring VEL’s commitment to sustainable infrastructure development and high-quality project execution standards.
