BHEL Secures ₹11,000 Crore Power Contracts from Adani

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has won contracts worth over ₹11,000 crore from Adani Power Limited and its subsidiary, Mahan Energen Limited. These significant agreements involve the development of three supercritical thermal power projects, each with a capacity of 2x800 MW. The projects are set to be located in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, highlighting BHEL’s growing role in the domestic power sector.

As part of the contracts, BHEL will supply critical components, including boilers, turbines, and generators, which are essential for the efficient operation of the power plants. The company will also manage the erection and commissioning of these projects, ensuring that they are completed within the stipulated timeframe of 49 to 55 months.
