Godrej Agrovet Plants Sustainable Palm Oil Future in Telangana

Godrej Agrovet Limited is investing 250 crores in a new palm oil processing factory in Khammam, Telangana. The project includes a crude palm oil mill, a pioneering nursery that produces 7 lakh seedlings yearly, a seed production and research center, and "Samadhan Centers" that provide oil palm farmers with full solutions on 125 acres. At 30 tons per hour, scalable to 60 tonnes per hour, this is Khammam district's greatest private investment.

The oil palm business in the area will alter with this ambitious undertaking. The project would boost palm oil output in Telangana and empower local farmers with specialized support centers and superior digital infrastructure, creating 250 direct and 500 indirect employment. Construction is projected to begin shortly, and full operation is scheduled for 2025–26. Land acquisition and planning will boost the region's economy.
