Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) has recently formalized a strategic collaboration with the Government of Gujarat through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a cutting-edge facility dedicated to the production of juices and aerated beverages in Rajkot. This upcoming facility, slated to commence operations in 2026, will complement HCCB's existing establishments in Sanand (Ahmedabad district) and Goblej (Kheda district).
To bring this new facility to fruition, HCCB is set to make a substantial investment of Rs 3,000 crore, contributing significantly to the industrial landscape and fostering considerable economic and social development in the region.
This investment is a pivotal move for HCCB as it aims to expand its business operations and solidify its presence in the state. The venture is expected to enhance HCCB's workforce, bringing the total number of employees in the state to over 1,500 individuals.
As the bottling arm of The Coca-Cola Company, HCCB's extensive network in the state encompasses approximately 285 distributors and over 224,000 retailers, further underscoring its commitment to serving the market and strengthening its regional footprint.
