Brigade & Hyatt: Shaping the Future of South Indian Hospitality

Global hospitality leader Hyatt Hotels Corporation has partnered with Brigade Group to develop a Grand Hyatt property on Chennai’s East Coast Road (ECR) and a Hyatt House hotel in Bengaluru’s Devanahalli. These projects are aimed at tapping into both the luxury and extended-stay segments in rapidly growing urban corridors.

The Chennai ECR development is expected to attract premium leisure and business travellers, benefiting from the city’s strong coastal tourism appeal. In contrast, the Bengaluru project will cater to long-stay corporate guests, particularly those connected to the airport and surrounding business ecosystem.

Together, the developments highlight the rising demand for diversified hospitality offerings across major Indian metros.

They also reflect a broader industry trend of global hotel chains collaborating with domestic developers to accelerate expansion in key high-growth markets.
