Lemon Tree Hotels has signed a license agreement for its upcoming property—Lemon Tree Resort, Pench, Maharashtra—which will be operated by its management arm, Carnation Hotels.
The new wildlife-themed resort will offer 60 well-appointed rooms, along with a restaurant, banquet hall, swimming pool, spa, and a range of recreational amenities. Strategically located near Pench National Park, the property is easily accessible—85 km from Nagpur Airport and 62 km from Nagpur Railway Station.
Nestled near the iconic Pench National Park, which spans 758 sq. km across Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, the resort provides guests with a gateway to one of India’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. The park—named after the Pench River—is home to a rich variety of species including the Royal Bengal tiger, Indian leopard, sloth bear, striped hyena, and various antelopes. It was designated a national park in 1975 and a tiger reserve in 1992.
Vilas Pawar, CEO of Carnation Hotels, said the addition strengthens Lemon Tree’s growing wildlife resort portfolio and deepens its footprint in Maharashtra, where the group currently operates 14 hotels and has 10 more under development.
