Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a 120-key Taj-branded hotel in Naina Tikker, Himachal Pradesh, marking a strategic entry into a relatively untapped destination in the Himalayan region.
A brownfield development, the project highlights IHCL’s intent to expand its luxury footprint across North India. Positioned near key travel hubs like Chandigarh, Chail, Theog, and Dehradun, the new hotel enhances IHCL’s ability to offer a seamless luxury travel circuit across the region.
"This addition strengthens IHCL’s presence in the region and further deepens our partnership with the Micro Turners Group," said Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate and Development, IHCL.
Designed for both leisure and corporate travelers, the hotel will offer world-class amenities and the signature Taj hospitality experience. With this signing, IHCL’s portfolio in Himachal Pradesh grows to 13 hotels, including eight under development.
The move aligns with IHCL’s broader strategy of targeting high-potential tourism markets and reinforcing regional circuits, positioning the brand for sustained growth across North India.
