Hilton Worldwide has signed agreements for its first 10 Spark by Hilton properties in India through a strategic partnership with Olive Hospitality, marking a key step in its mid-market expansion strategy.
The move aligns with Hilton’s 2024 roadmap, which targets the development of 150 Spark by Hilton franchised hotels across the country. The new properties will be spread across a mix of business and leisure destinations, including Bengaluru, Goa, Jaipur, Nashik, Mathura, Pune, Rajkot, and Hyderabad. The expansion highlights Hilton’s focus on growing beyond major metro hubs and tapping into fast-developing urban markets.
Spark by Hilton is positioned as a mid-scale brand offering simple, reliable service with efficient design. The hotels will include flexible public spaces for dining, work, and social interaction, along with complimentary breakfast options tailored to local tastes and 24-hour retail access for added convenience.
As part of its broader India strategy, Hilton has also partnered with NILE Hospitality to develop 75 Hampton by Hilton properties, and with Royal Orchid Hotels for an additional 125 hotels. Together, these initiatives aim to build a portfolio of more than 400 operational properties in India, reinforcing Hilton’s long-term growth ambitions in the country’s expanding hospitality sector.
