IHCL and Claridges Partner to Launch New Luxury Collection

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), Tata Group’s leading hospitality brand, has partnered with Claridges Hotels to introduce the Claridges Collection.

Starting April 1, 2025, IHCL will manage The Claridges New Delhi under a 25-year contract and integrate two additional properties—Connemara in Chennai and Blue Diamond in Pune—into the Claridges brand. The collection aims to grow to six properties soon and expand to 20 by 2030.

IHCL’s Managing Director and CEO, Puneet Chhatwal, highlighted that Claridges will be positioned as a luxury portfolio on par with the Taj brand. Claridges Hotels promoter Suresh Nanda expressed confidence that the partnership would set new industry benchmarks, leveraging the strengths of both brands.

IHCL has previously acquired several properties from Nanda, including Vivanta Surajkund and the Sea Rock Hotel in Mumbai, which is being redeveloped as Taj Bandstand. Additionally, Nanda developed a Taj hotel in Business Bay, Dubai, for IHCL.

Looking ahead, IHCL plans to launch 30 new properties in the next year, adding approximately 4,500 rooms. As part of its "Accelerate 2030" strategy, the company aims to grow from 375 to 700 properties by 2030 and double its consolidated revenue to ₹15,000 crore.
