Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a new property under its Gateway brand in Patnitop, Jammu & Kashmir, marking a notable expansion of its presence in the region.
The 78-key resort, a conversion project, is positioned to meet rising travel demand from Punjab, Delhi NCR, and Jammu. Designed to offer an immersive leisure experience, the resort will feature an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a bar, two swimming pools, a fitness centre, and large banquet spaces. With provisions for future expansion, the project supports IHCL’s strategy to strengthen its footprint in key leisure destinations.
“Patnitop is a hidden gem in Jammu & Kashmir, offering travellers a quick winter escape,” said Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development at IHCL. With this signing, IHCL’s portfolio in Jammu & Kashmir grows to 12 hotels, with six additional projects under development.
