IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Yash Hotels & Resorts to develop the Holiday Inn Resort Alwar, further strengthening its resort portfolio in India.
Scheduled to open in Q1 2030, the 150-key property will be located in Alwar, often referred to as the “Gateway to Rajasthan,” and set against the scenic backdrop of the Aravalli Hills. The resort’s location offers strong connectivity to Delhi NCR and Jaipur, while also being in proximity to the Sariska Tiger Reserve, making it attractive for leisure, corporate, and event-driven travel.
Holiday Inn Resort Alwar will feature multiple dining venues, resort-style amenities, and dedicated spaces for meetings and events, catering to a wide range of guests including vacationers, wedding groups, and business travellers. The project marks IHG’s entry into Alwar and aligns with its strategy to expand in high-potential leisure destinations across India.
Commenting on the development, Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said the partnership reflects confidence in Alwar’s long-term growth potential. He added that the combination of the destination’s natural appeal and the strength of the Holiday Inn Resort brand will position the property to meet evolving traveller preferences.
