JPOD Hotels Opens New Pod Hotel at Hyderabad Airport

JPOD Hotels has launched a new Pod Hotel at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), offering travelers affordable, compact accommodations. Located at the car park level in the city-side check-in area, the facility is designed to meet the needs of budget-conscious air passengers.

Jagrut Thakkar, Founder of JPOD Hotels, expressed excitement about the partnership with RGIA. He highlighted JPOD’s commitment to providing innovative and efficient lodging solutions, with plans to expand similar offerings across other airports in India.

JPOD first introduced Pod Hotels to India in 2017 with the launch of Urbanpod and later relaunched it in 2021 at Mumbai Central to serve railway passengers. These experiences helped the company refine its Pod-style accommodations and gauge their popularity among Indian travelers, according to JPOD Director Hiren Gandhi.

Pradeep Panicker, CEO of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL), emphasized the growing demand for convenient and comfortable stays for air travelers. The new Pod Hotel, he noted, offers a relaxing space for passengers transiting through the airport, catering to the increasing number of air travelers.

Pod hotels, featuring compact, bed-sized rooms, are an ideal option for travelers seeking a cost-effective, no-frills overnight stay. This latest addition at Hyderabad Airport adds a new level of convenience for passengers on the go.
