M3M India and Oravel Stays, the parent company of OYO Hotels & Homes, have formalized a strategic partnership through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to expand the Sunday hotel brand across India. The collaboration will kick off with the development of a new 220-key hotel at M3M SkyLoft in Gurugram, Haryana, marking a significant step in their joint expansion efforts.
The first project, located near Cyber City 2 on Southern Peripheral Road (SPR), will span 1.67 lakh square feet. Designed to cater primarily to business travelers and conference attendees, this new hotel aims to provide an ideal lodging option for professionals in the region. The site’s proximity to upcoming commercial developments enhances its appeal to the target demographic.
Under the MoU, M3M India and Oravel Stays plan to develop a total of 1.5 million square feet of world-class hospitality space, setting new standards in luxury and service. This initiative is part of a broader vision to create 15 lakh square feet of upscale hotel space with 1,000 keys across Gurugram and Noida, further establishing the Sunday brand’s presence in key markets.
The transaction was facilitated by Corevest Advisory, a firm specializing in transactional advisory and consultancy services. Architectural design for the new hotel is led by Zubin Cooper, CEO of Bentel Associates International, ensuring a modern and appealing design that meets high standards.
This partnership underscores both companies' commitment to enhancing India’s hospitality landscape by introducing luxurious, well-designed accommodations tailored to the needs of business travelers and conference-goers.
