Oberoi Realty and Marriott International Unite for Two New Mumbai Hotels

Oberoi Realty has recently forged an agreement with Marriott International to embark on the development of two prominent Marriott properties in Borivali, Mumbai, and Pokharan Road in Thane, boasting a combined inventory of 560 keys. This initiative signifies the debut of Marriott International’s esteemed flagship brand, Marriott Hotels, in Mumbai. Alongside the iconic JW Marriott brand, these establishments are poised to deliver unparalleled customer experiences, catering to a wide spectrum of hospitality preferences.

The anticipated completion timeline for both properties, the JW Marriott Hotel Thane Garden City and the Marriott Hotel Sky City in Borivali, is set for 2027-2028. The JW Marriott Hotel Thane Garden City will be situated within the opulent confines of Oberoi Garden City, an expansive integrated development sprawling across 75 acres in Thane, which includes luxurious residences. This hotel will offer an array of amenities, including three distinct dining outlets, a comprehensive lobby lounge, and a 25-meter outdoor swimming pool.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Marriott Hotel Sky City will be an integral component of Sky City, a sprawling 25-acre integrated development located in Borivali East. Complementing the property's eight luxury residential towers and the vast Sky City Mall spanning over 1.5 million sq. ft., the hotel will feature the brand's signature M Club and Quan spa, elevating the guest experience to new heights.

Oberoi Realty boasts a rich portfolio comprising 43 successfully delivered projects across Mumbai, encompassing residential, office space, retail, hospitality, and social infrastructure verticals. On the other hand, Marriott International, renowned for its global presence, operates and franchises hotels while also licensing vacation ownership resorts worldwide. Given Mumbai's strategic significance, characterized by its 13 operational hotels, this collaboration holds immense promise for both parties involved.
