Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited plans to invest around ₹1,000 crore in Karnataka over the next five years as part of its expansion strategy focused on experiential tourism and premium hospitality destinations.
The announcement comes alongside the 10th anniversary celebrations of Grand Mercure Mysuru, the company’s flagship hospitality property in Mysuru.
The company said the proposed investment will be directed toward the development of new hotel projects and the modernisation of existing hospitality assets across the state. Under its broader “Vision 2031” expansion roadmap, Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited aims to add nearly 1,700 room keys over the next five years with a planned capital expenditure of around ₹3,600 crore.
Nirupa Shankar said Mysuru has transformed from a weekend tourism destination into a strong business and heritage hub. She added that the success of the Mysuru property has provided the company with the operational confidence and financial foundation to accelerate expansion across Karnataka.
