The Oberoi Group Expands Presence with Four New Indian Hotels

EIH Ltd., the flagship company of The Oberoi Group, has announced four new hotel projects in India under management contracts, further strengthening its Oberoi and Trident brands. The announcement was made during the company’s 75th Annual General Meeting held in New Delhi on 6 August 2025.

The Oberoi, Gir – a 20-key luxury wildlife retreat set within a 40-acre mango orchard near Gir National Park, The Oberoi, Hyderabad – a 220-key luxury hotel located at Knowledge City, Trident, Nandi Hills – a 150-key property in the scenic Nandi Hills near Bengaluru, Trident, Fort Aguada – a 170-key hotel near the iconic 17th-century Fort Aguada in Goa

These projects are part of EIH’s robust development pipeline of 25 properties scheduled for completion by 2030, comprising 22 hotels and three luxury boats.

Of the 25, eight properties will be owned or co-invested, while 17—including two Dahabeyas and a Nile cruise ship—will be operated under management contracts. The pipeline spans 16 locations in India and nine internationally, collectively adding 2,033 keys to the portfolio: 18 under the Oberoi brand and seven under Trident.

This strategic expansion underscores EIH’s long-term vision to scale premium hospitality offerings across key domestic and global destinations.
