Sambhal Set for a ₹293-Crore Industrial & Logistics Makeover

The Uttar Pradesh State Cabinet has approved the development of an integrated manufacturing and logistics cluster (IMLC) in Sambhal, located along the Ganga Expressway, under the Atal Industrial Infrastructure Mission.

The project is part of a broader Industrial Corridor initiative spanning 29 locations across the expressway network managed by the Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority. The proposed cluster will be equipped with modern infrastructure, including internal roads, RCC drains, culverts, a fire station, underground reservoirs, water supply systems, boundary fencing, and power connectivity.

The development will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model to ensure timely and efficient implementation. The total project cost is estimated at ₹293.59 crore, of which ₹245.42 crore has been approved by the Cabinet for initial construction.

The initiative is expected to strengthen industrial and logistics capabilities along the Ganga Expressway corridor, enhance regional connectivity, and drive economic growth and employment generation in Sambhal and surrounding areas.
