Shakti Pumps (India) has secured a prestigious letter of empanelment from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL).
Spanning 10,000 off-grid solar photovoltaic water pumping systems (SPWPS) across 3 HP, 5 HP, and higher capacities (including 7.5 HP), the work will be executed across the state of Maharashtra under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana. The total value of the order stands at approximately Rs. 235.92 crore (inclusive of GST). As per the terms of the agreement, the project features a rapid execution window of 60 days from the issuance of the work order or Notice to Proceed.
This milestone significantly expands Shakti Pumps' footprint and revenue visibility in the agricultural solar energy sector, reinforcing its dominant position in government-backed clean energy initiatives.
