K S Chemicals Planning a New API Manufacturing in Gujarat

K S Chemicals is coming up with an Active Pharmaceuticals Intermediate (API) Manufacturing Unit Project at Jhagadia, Bharuch, Gujarat. The project is expected to have a production capacity of 31.0 MT/Month. Total Cost of Project 97 Lakh.

Active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) are the active components in pharmaceutical drugs that produce the desired therapeutic effect. They are the essential building blocks of medicines and play a crucial role in treating and preventing a wide range of diseases. Active pharmaceutical intermediates (APIs), also known as bulk drugs, are intermediate chemicals used in the synthesis of APIs. They are often produced in large quantities and undergo rigorous quality control measures to ensure their purity and consistency.

As on November 2023, The project is now in the stage of receiving approvals. The project has received all necessary clearances. By the end of the year 2023, development on the project will have begun.
