Medisys to Invest ₹60 Crore in New Yamuna Expressway Facility

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has allotted a 12,000 sq. m (three-acre) plot in its Medical Device Park at Sector-28 to Premier Medical Systems & Devices (formerly Medisys), marking another step forward in the region’s emergence as a medical manufacturing hub.

A Letter of Intent has been issued, and the Noida-based company plans to invest ₹60 crore in the new facility, which is expected to generate around 450 jobs.

According to YEIDA official Shailendra Bhatia, the upcoming plant will expand the firm’s product portfolio to include radiology and oncology equipment, complementing its existing line of critical-care technologies such as ventilators, anesthesia workstations, and infusion pumps—currently manufactured at its Sector-63 facility.

Founded in the 1970s, Premier Medical (Medisys) was the first Indian manufacturer of a locally developed ventilator and now exports to Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

Located on a 350-acre site, the YEIDA Medical Device Park is North India’s first dedicated hub for radiology, cancer care, implants, and diagnostics. It offers streamlined approvals under the central government’s “Promotion of Medical Device Parks” scheme.

As of mid-2025, 89 plots have been allotted, construction is in progress at seven sites, and full infrastructure readiness is expected by January 2026.
