Bidding Open: SAIL Durgapur Billet Caster Infrastructure Works

Bridge & Roof Co. (India) Limited has invited bids for construction works under the upgradation of Billet Casters I and II at the Continuous Casting Plant (CCP) Main Package (Package-I) at the Durgapur Steel Plant of the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).

The scope of work includes the construction of a diaphragm wall for the scale pit and a flume tunnel, both of which are integral to the billet caster upgradation programme. The project is aimed at strengthening plant infrastructure and improving operational efficiency to support enhanced steel production capabilities at the facility.

The tender is currently open, with the bid submission deadline set for 20 February 2026.
