Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has initiated a significant development project titled "Development of Roadbed for Extension of MMTS in Telangana." With a contract value of Rs 373.62 crores the tender includes diverse tasks such as earthwork, drainage, bridge construction, culverts, and associated infrastructure works.

Eligible bidders experienced in railway infrastructure construction can access tender documents on RVNL's official website for the pre-qualification bid, which must be submitted by February 2, 2024. The contract award process will evaluate technical and financial bids from pre-qualified participants, aiming to select the most proficient and competitive bidder.

This railway expansion project, though the specific route and stations are yet to be disclosed, is poised to enhance connectivity and public transportation in Telangana, potentially alleviating traffic congestion.
