Ammann India's Gujarat Plant Becomes Global Hub for ABG Pavers

Ammann India has officially commenced production of ABG asphalt pavers at its newly established assembly line in Ditasan, Gujarat, marking the successful integration of the ABG Paver business into its operations.

The first unit to roll off the line was the ABG 5420 Tracked Paver, compliant with Tier-III emission norms, and intended for both the domestic market and exports to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. This milestone underscores Ammann India’s commitment to localisation and further solidifies its role as a global manufacturing and export hub.

Dheeraj Panda, Managing Director of Ammann India, emphasised the strategic significance of the development, stating that it would play a key role in accelerating ABG’s growth in India while enhancing service delivery and customer satisfaction.

In parallel, Ammann India also inaugurated a dedicated warehouse for ABG products at the same site. Covering over 10,000 sq. ft, with an additional 2,000 sq. ft of staging area, the facility features multi-level racking for up to 1,800 SKUs. It is designed to support future expansion, enabling improved parts availability, streamlined logistics, faster deliveries, and enhanced aftermarket support.
