Bio Vet is planning with new Brucella vaccine in Karnataka

A new Brucella vaccine production plant is going to be established by Bio Vet Private Limited at Malur, Kolar, in the state of Karnataka.

It is anticipated that the project would have a manufacturing capacity of 200 million doses per year and will have a cost of 200 crores.

Additionally, it will assist India in becoming self-sufficient in the manufacturing of vaccines against Brucella.
Items that will be brought into production: Vaccine against Brucella.

As on November 2023, The project is now in the stage of construction being started. The completion of the project's work has reached the 40% mark. The work on the project will be finished by December of 2024.
