GR Integrated Transforms Steel in Chhattisgarh

GR Integrated Steel Private Limited is set to make a substantial mark on the steel industry with its Integrated Steel Plant project in Mudpar, Bemetara, Chhattisgarh, India. With an estimated cost of 442 Crore, this initiative aims to significantly contribute to India's steel production capacity while fostering economic growth in the region.

The project encompasses the construction of a state-of-the-art integrated steel plant, designed to produce various high-quality steel products. These include Sponge Iron (198,000 TPA), Mild Steel Billets (194,040 TPA), Rerolled Steel (231,000 TPA), and Pig Iron (40,000 TPA). This diverse production capacity is poised to strengthen the country's self-sufficiency in steel, reducing dependence on imported steel.

One of the project's standout features is its potential to create employment opportunities for around 1,500 people, providing a significant boost to the local economy. The timeline for completion is set for 2024, showcasing a rapid development pace. The Ministry of Steel, Government of India, has already granted approval, underscoring the project's credibility and aligning with broader government initiatives to fortify the nation's industrial capabilities.

Beyond its economic impact, GR Integrated Steel's project is anticipated to enhance supply chain efficiency and bolster the overall steel production landscape in India. As it progresses toward completion, this initiative holds the promise of driving positive change in Chhattisgarh's economic landscape and contributing to the nation's industrial resilience.

As on January,2024. Project building has begun. 50% of the project is done. The project will finish in December 2024.
