Bhilwara Energy Limited has announced the launch of LNJ GREENPET, a cutting-edge B2B food-grade PET resin manufacturing plant in Rajasthan, backed by an investment of Rs 750 crore.
Spanning 95 acres in Tonk district, LNJ GREENPET is poised to become India’s largest single-premises bottle-to-bottle (B2B) recycled PET resin manufacturing facility. The plant will recycle post-consumer PET bottles into high-quality rPET resin, suitable for producing new bottles and other products.
Scheduled to commence operations by September 2026, the facility will have the capacity to recycle 20 million PET bottles daily and produce 100 kilotons of food-grade B2B rPET resin annually. The project is expected to generate over 700 job opportunities in the state.
This marks Bhilwara Energy’s second major venture in PET bottle recycling, following the successful launch of its Recycled Polyester Fibre (RCPF) facility in 2014. The RCPF plant currently recycles 6 million PET bottles daily, yielding over 43,000 MT of FibreGreen annually.
