JCL Cement Plan to Expand Clinker Grinding in Rajasthan

JCL Cement Private Limited is coming up with an expansion project for its clinker grinding unit at Behror, Rajasthan. The expansion project is expected to increase the grinding capacity of the unit from 200 TPD to 1000 TPD. The project cost is  6.30 Crores.

Clinker is a key ingredient in the production of cement. It is produced by heating limestone and other raw materials to a high temperature. The demand for clinker is growing globally due to the increasing demand for cement. The expansion project will help to meet the growing demand for clinker in India and around the world. Efficient grinding can reduce the amount of energy required to grind the clinker, which can lower production costs and improve environmental performance.

As on November 2023, The project is currently in the stage of being approved currently awaiting approval from the government.
