H.B Sugar Industries Plans Sugar Manufacturing in Uttarpradesh

H.B Sugar Industries Limited is coming up with a new Sugar Manufacturing Unit Project at Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. The project is expected to have a sugar production capacity of 3,500 TCD and a power generation capacity of 20 MW. 

Sugar is a major agricultural product in India and is an important source of income for farmers. The demand for sugar is growing globally due to the increasing population and rising disposable incomes. The project will help to meet the growing demand for sugar in India and around the world.

In addition to producing sugar, the project will also generate electricity through cogeneration, which is a process of generating electricity from the heat produced by the sugar manufacturing process. This will help to reduce the reliance on fossil fuels and promote sustainable energy production.

As on November 2023, The Project is currently in the planning stage.
