Japanese personal care and kitchen equipment giant Kai Group is set to invest ¥300 million (approximately ₹17.17 crore) to enhance its production facility in Neemrana, Rajasthan. This strategic investment will increase the plant’s capacity for manufacturing women’s razors by over five million units annually.
The expansion, slated for completion within five months, will be fully operational by December 2024. This move is part of Kai India’s commitment to the ‘Make in India’ initiative, aiming to strengthen local manufacturing capabilities and cater to growing demand in both domestic and international markets.
Kai Group initially entered the Indian market in 2016, establishing its Neemrana facility as a key production hub. The latest expansion underscores the rising consumer focus on personal grooming, which drives increased demand for high-quality grooming products.
The expanded capacity will allow Kai India to efficiently meet this surging demand, reinforcing its position in the personal care sector and ensuring that customers receive top-notch products.
This investment aligns with broader industry trends and supports the company’s strategic goals of bolstering local manufacturing and contributing to the Indian economy.
